Originally written in German, under the title “Die Reinigung und Erhaltung von Munzen und Medaillen”, this book, translated to English presents for the first time the entire field of technical coin treatment in one compact work. Approval and letters of commendation have been received from scientific institutions, museums, experts, and above all, collectors from all over the world. The approval of private collectors seems especially important, because it indicates that the book is thoroughly understandable and that the collector can protect his treasures from external influences, even if he does not possess costly technical or chemical equipment.
